Today was my cousin Abbie's dance recital! Isn't she cute??? Wow, she really likes to hold me tight....and also boss me around. She really wants to babysit me but that makes me pretty nervous, maybe in a few years! My Mom and Dad promised me that I never have to be in dance when I get older, whew, thank goodness!

Today, my Mom and Sarah threw a baby shower for my Auntie Lisa and my cousin-to-be! My mom promised me that I won't have to go to any more showers once I am older...I was the only boy there and I just got passed all over by the ladies! My dad got to leave and go hang out with the "guys" but he left me there to fend for myself! Oh well, it was fun to see all the new toys and fun stuff. I can't wait to meet my new cousin...I think that it will be a boy! We are going to have so much fun together, yay!

Mommy & Daddy's 2nd wedding anniversray!
Today was a very special day at my house...it was my mom and dad's 2nd wedding anniversary! Now, I have only been around for about a month, but from what I hear, they are more in love than ever. I think that it pretty cool, don't they look so happy?? :)
This was the first night that my parents have had a "date night" and I got to spend a few hours with my Grandma and Grandpa Campbell! We had so much fun, but I was super tuckered out and was fast asleep when my Mom and Dad got home. My Mommy still scooped me up and cuddled me like crazy. I think that she REALLY missed me.
Congrats Mom and Dad...I love you both lots and lots!

Superman!!
So, my Mom and Dad told me that in order to be Superman I would need to be able to save peoples lives and I would need to take CPR training. So, I did it, but I just thought that those Annie dolls were so darn funny and I had a hard time taking it seriously! I made it though.
Anyway after a long days work (and boy was I exhausted) I was off and ready to go fight evil in Gotham City!! SUPERMAN!!

One month old!
Today Grady is one month old....it is crazy how much he has grown and changed over the past month. He has started to smile and really has gotten quite a cute personality. Josh and I are adjusting to parenting and our new roles as mom and dad! It is hard to imagine our life without Grady, and before Grady for that matter. It seems that we have always had him. He has truly been such a blessing in our lives.
Highlights of the first month --
Highlights of the first month --
- Bringing him home from the hospital and realizing that we can do this on our own!!
- Grady sleeping pretty much through the night since we brought him home! Incredible, we know!!
- Watching him smile for the first time.
- ALL the cuddle time (he is a VERY snuggly baby)
- All the "firsts so far"...bottle, overnight trip, shopping trip, smile, holding his head up strong, bath, recognition of mom and dad, losing umbilical cord, etc, etc.
- The moment that breatfeeding didn't hurt like CRAZY!!
- Dressing him in all those cute little outfits (well this is maybe Mom's favorite :) !!)
- Realizing how quickly you can fall so incredibly in love with someone.
- Many many laughs, usually regarding Grady pooping, peeing, or puking on us....hee hee, especially Dad!
- All the love, support, and kindness that we received from our wonderful family and friends!

Grady's First Easter!
My first Easter was so much fun! I went to my Grandma and Grandpa White's in the morning and the Easter bunny came and visited me there. Then I went to my Great Grandma Bonnie's for lunch. She is in the picture with my Dad and my Grandpa Don. Hah, aren't they funny! Then when I got home, the Easter Bunny had dropped a basket off at my house too! That bunny....he sure is busy!

BIG Day!!

Our first overnight trip!!
This weekend, we took our first trip to Grandma and Grandpa White's house!! Sam (my sister) and Laura (sister in law) threw a baby shower for me and Grady!! It was tons of fun and Grady was able to spend lots of time with his cousins. We were able to capture some great pics of the cousins. Too cute!! Grady is going to be a little outnumbered by all the girls! :) Also, were able to get all the great-grandchildren together for a super nice photo with great-Grandma Gibbs.
Despite Grady managing all three P's (poop, pee, and puke) on the bed we were sleeping on...and getting a little poop on Daddy's face, it was a pretty successful weekend.

My first shopping trip!!
Today was the very first time that I got to ride in my new stroller. My Mom took me into the cities and we had lunch with my Mom's friend Nikki, and my little buddy Jacob. It was super. Then we went shopping and I had so much fun. My Mom got me some super cute new clothes...and then I think that she might have gotten some fun things for herself too. I had such a blast but by the end of the day, I was getting a little sleepy. So, we headed home to hang out with Dad! I think that he really missed us.

My first night in my new house!!
My my first play date!
This is my buddy Jacob. He came out to see me today with his Mom and Grandma. We had soooo much fun and I can't wait to have lots more play dates with him. (I think that he might have gotten a little jealous when his Grandma was holding me instead of him...but no worries, he still wants to come and play with me lots and lots.)

Meet Baby Grady!!
Hi friends and family!! It has been an eventful few days for the Campbell family...to say the least! On Tuesday, Melissa went into the hospital for a non stress test (Baby Campbell was due on Friday, March 13th). After the baby failed his test, the doc decided that it was time to start the labor process. At first, it looked as though things were going to go quite nicely. After about 12 hours of labor, Melissa opted for an epidural (which she would describe as the most heavenly relief ever!!). After laboring through the night, baby decided that it just wasn't going anywhere. So, at about 11:30am, after a visit from the OB surgeon, a C-section was decided upon. Apparently this baby was not going to come out on it's own. Grady Donald Del Campbell was born at 12:07pm on Wednesday, March 18th. He weighed 9 lbs, 1 oz, and was 20 1/4 inches long. He was way too big for Melissa to deliver on her own, so we are so happy that the decision for a C-section had been made when it was. What a relief to FINALLY meet this sweet little boy!!
Grady has been such an amazing boy...he hardly ever cries and is just an absolute delight. He just coos and grunts, and is such a little lover. He is eating like a champion (go figure at 9 lbs) and totally takes after his Dad! We love him so so soooooo much!!
We are hoping to spring out of the hospital tomorrow afternoon. Melissa and Grady both need to get the ok's from their docs, but all is looking well at this point! We had better get our rest tonight...the adventure is about to begin!
